The countdown is less than 1 week until we are in WARM weather. Acapulco is our first stop and we will end up in Fort Lauderdale a week and a half later. While I really don’t like packing, it is a means to an end (getting there.) We will probably have a really large number of pics so stay tuned.
Hi, I really would like to know what you thought of this trip and what you all did? Any tips or ideas would be wonderful! My husband and I will be taking this trip in Oct.
Hope you have fun!
Zoila (first time cruiser)
If you have never seen the Panama Canal before, it is a truly incredible cruise. The sheer amount of engineering magic that went into making things work 100 years ago is still impressive today. The ziplining we did in Costa Rica was really a high point in our vacation on the way down. It was less expensive, better organized and had more ziplines than the excursion available through the ship. We normally are ones who spend the extra money to get the security of going with the ship based excursions, but we are really happy we tried this one. The ship based excursion has something like 8 ziplines. The one we went on had around 24 with 2 repels and cost about $20/pp less. Our river tubing in Jamaica down the White River was a lot of fun; the guides were a blast and the water was crystal clear. It was a bit expensive, but was a good way to spend our final port day. What kind of questions did you have about this cruise?
