Port Canaveral, FL – Castaway Cay – At Sea – Cozumel, Mexico – Georgetown, Grand Cayman – At Sea – Castaway Cay – Port Canaveral, FL

I have to be honest.. Going into this cruise I was terrified that there was going to be hundreds of kids, running and screaming all over the ship.  I should have given Disney more credit.   Disney’s famous experience with crowd control translated amazingly well to their cruise ship.  Three pools: one kids only, one family and one adults only divided the crowds well and provided a quiet area when wanted.  Unlike most other cruise lines, Disney actually enforces the “adults only” rules, which should make this cruiseline more attractive to people without children.  The rotating dining rooms keep everything fresh, even though the food is pretty mainstream; by saying mainstream I am not saying that the food was bad.  In fact, the food was great but it was lighter than most other cruises we have been on, they didn’t put heavy sauces or creams on much.  Soda was free.  This was a great enough cruise that we will definitely give a long look at the lines newest ships, Dream and Fantasy, when they are built in 2011 and 2012.
